Train Services Overview

When booking, options include a one-way ticket from the airport or a round-trip ticket. You can select the Express Route for a direct trip to Taipei's main station or the Suburban Train Route, which stops in Taoyuan, New Taipei City, and Taipei City.

This ticket is valid only for non-Taiwanese citizens. You must redeem the voucher at designated ticket desks at the Taoyuan Airport MRT for a coin to access the metro. The magnetic coin must be validated within a month; lost coins cannot be reissued.

Schedule and Frequency

The Taoyuan Airport MRT has two routes:

Express Route: operates daily from 5:57 am to 9:55 pm, with trains every 30 minutes; journey time is 36 to 40 minutes.Suburban Train Route: operates daily from 6:04 am to 11:37 pm, with trains every 15 minutes; journey time is 50 to 55 minutes.
