On this tour to Jägala Waterfall, we'll visit Estonia's largest natural waterfall, a key attraction in Tallinn. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to see it in a frozen state.

Jägala Waterfall Tour

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Tallinn Tourist Information Center and drive to the Jägala waterfall, located in the most famous karst area of Estonia.

After a half-hour drive, we will arrive at this impressive waterfall, which presents a different appearance when temperatures drop in Estonia and it freezes. The Jägala waterfall is the largest in the country, and we will explore the area on foot.

During the tour, we will learn interesting facts and stories about the waterfall, including its rate of erosion, which causes the rim to recede by 3 centimeters each year, contributing to the formation of a valley. If conditions permit, we will walk around and admire the beauty of the ice up close.

After visiting the Jägala waterfall, we will enjoy a picnic lunch featuring traditional local products, along with a hot drink.

Following two hours of hiking, we will return to Tallinn.
