Amazon Jungle Night Hike
You will be picked up from your hotel in Puerto Maldonado at the scheduled time and taken deep into nature, to the entrance to the Peruvian Amazon Jungle.
On your night time jungle hike, you will spend three hours exploring the trails of the Amazon rainforest. Under the moonlight, you will trek through the lush vegetation and walk alongside the River Tambopata, stopping on the riverbank to listen to the various sounds of the jungle.
Walking along the Tambopata Ecotourism Corridor, you will reach the Tambopata National Reserve. Watch for creatures that roam the jungle at night, including snakes, tarantulas, and possibly leopards and night monkeys. This experience is truly unforgettable.
At the end of your night hike, you will return to your hotel, arriving about 2.5 hours after the initial pickup.
