4-day tour

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata

We will pick you up from the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado and take you to the starting point. After an introduction to our itinerary, we will travel two hours into the Amazon Rainforest in an all-terrain vehicle. We will reach the Tambopata River and board a boat to the lodge. After settling in, we will enjoy lunch and take a walk in the jungle to observe wildlife. You will have the rest of the day free.

Day 2: Macaw Clay Lick

We will depart early for El Chuncho, the largest macaw clay lick, taking a 1.5-hour boat trip. Look for capybaras, jaguars, and tapirs. We will explore the jungle to observe 11 species of macaw on the clay walls and visit a botanic garden. After lunch, enjoy kayaking on the River Tambopata.

Day 3: Monkey Island

We will walk through the jungle, observing ancient trees. Afterward, we'll travel across the Madre de Dios River to Monkey Island, where we will see families of monkeys. At night, we will search for caimans before returning for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Canopy Walk

We will wake up early for a walk on the hanging bridges of the Canopy Walk for views from 30 meters (100 feet) high. After the activity, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, concluding the tour at 9:30 am.

5-day tour

The first 3 days of this tour will follow the same itinerary as the 4-day tour. On Day 4, we will hike around Lake Sandoval and explore its waters in a traditional rowing canoe. On the fifth day, we will enjoy the Canopy Walk before returning to Puerto Maldonado.

We will pick you up from the bus station or the arrivals area of Puerto Maldonado Airport. The pickup time will depend on your flight schedule.

This activity includes pickup from the bus station or Puerto Maldonado airport. Picking up from other city areas will incur an additional fee of 50USD - 70USD, payable on the day.
