Sunset River Boat + Capybara Watching

Enjoy an evening watching the sunset over the Amazon Rainforest while boating on the Madre de Dios river, admiring nature and wildlife.

River Cruise Details

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head to the Puerto Maldonado jetty. Here, we’ll board our boat to explore the quieter aspects of the Madre de Dios River as night falls.

In the Tambopata National Park, we'll observe the changing colors of the sky as the sun sets. As night approaches, we will visit riverbanks to see wildlife such as the spectacled caiman and the capybara, the largest rodent in the world.

The boat's motor will be turned off to allow for a peaceful experience, filled with the sounds of the nocturnal rainforest. This is a distinctive experience.

After this remarkable evening, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, completing the activity after approximately 4 hours.
