Sunset River Boat + Capybara Watching

Enjoy an evening watching the sunset over the Amazon Rainforest. Relax as we cruise down the Madre de Dios river, admiring nature and wildlife.

River Cruise Details

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head to the Puerto Maldonado jetty. Here, we'll board our boat and as night falls, we'll explore the serene side of the Madre de Dios River.

Deep in the Tambopata National Park, we will observe the changing sky colors as the sun sets over the Amazon Rainforest. As dusk approaches, we will explore the riverbanks to see species such as the spectacled caiman and the capybara, the largest rodent in the world.

We will turn off the boat's motor to relax, listening to the nocturnal rainforest sounds. This is a unique experience.

After this evening activity, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, arriving after approximately 4 hours.
