Tambopata Photography 8 Day Trip

Day 1

After picking you up at the Puerto Maldonado airport, we'll travel to the banks of Sandoval Lake. During the journey, we'll take close-up shots of various endemic river birds. We will stay at the lodge in Tambopata for the next few nights with full board. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the facilities.

Day 2

We will visit farmers and agricultural workers in Loero after breakfast. You'll take pictures of farms, animals, fields, and workers.

Day 3

We will head to the chestnut fields for a photo tour to capture unique pictures of the chestnut crops.

Day 4

We will explore the gold mines of Tambopata to photograph the mining process.

Day 5

After breakfast, we'll look for endemic birds in the Corredor Bajo de Tambopata, utilizing viewpoints to spot various animal species.

Day 6

We'll explore different Amazonian ecosystems, visiting the secondary forest and local agroforestry systems while photographing species of flora and fauna.

Day 7

The final full day involves a canoe trip along the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers, capturing photos of river birds, including herons, parrots, and macaws. After the trip, we'll return to the lodge to pack.

Day 8

We'll have breakfast and return to Puerto Maldonado, dropping you off at the airport 3 hours before your flight.

This tour includes 7 nights' accommodation at an ecolodge in Tambopata with full board, covering all meals.
