Tambopata Photography 8 Day Trip

Day 1

After picking you up at the Puerto Maldonado airport, we'll travel to the banks of Sandoval Lake, allowing close-up shots of endemic river birds. The trip will end at the lodge in Tambopata, where we'll stay with full board. You'll have the rest of the day free to enjoy the facilities.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll visit farmers in Loero, a traditional agricultural area, capturing images of farms, animals, and workers in action.

Day 3

On the third day, after breakfast, we'll go on a photo tour of the chestnut fields, providing opportunities for unique pictures of the crops.

Day 4

We'll descend into the gold mines of Tambopata to photograph the mining process.

Day 5

After breakfast, we'll search for endemic birds in the Corredor Bajo de Tambopata, utilizing viewpoints to photograph birds and various animal species.

Day 6

This day will be spent capturing the wild nature of Amazonian ecosystems, exploring secondary forests and local agroforestry systems.

Day 7

The final full day will include a canoe trip along the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers to photograph river birds such as herons, parrots, and macaws. At the end, we'll return to the lodge to pack.

Day 8

We'll have breakfast and return to Puerto Maldonado, dropping you off at the airport 3 hours before your flight.

Accommodation

This tour includes 7 nights' accommodation at an ecolodge in Tambopata, with full board comprising all meals.
