On our Preikestolen Hiking Activity, you'll walk over the Lysefjord and see Norway's most famous rock, the Preikestolen or 'Pulpit Rock'. Breathtaking scenery and an adventure await!

Preikestolen Hiking Activity

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Stavanger and from there we'll take a 40-minute drive to the base of the famous Preikestolen rock.

Once there, you'll receive directions and begin the ascent to the summit of the Pulpit. The hike will take between 2 and 3 hours, with several stops along the way to take in the scenery.

When we reach the top of Preikestolen, we'll enjoy views of the Lysefjord fjord. Afterwards, we'll hike downhill for about 2 hours to the base of the rock, where we'll stop for a light Norwegian snack. You can also eat your packed lunch.

Finally, we'll take a 40-minute drive back to the various meeting points in Stavanger, concluding this 7 to 8-hour activity.
