Tangier Guided Tour

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Lalla Abla Mosque to begin this guided tour of Tangier. We will explain the history and curiosities of the mosque before proceeding to the first wall of the Kasbah, exploring its historical and cultural context.

Next, we'll visit the Hôtel Continental and its museum, located in the heart of Tangier's Medina. This building dates back to the end of the 19th century and features a blend of Muslim and European styles. Some scenes from El tiempo entre costuras were filmed here.

We will continue to the Small Souk, a lively square rich in history, then to the old Spanish residential area to visit the Al-Batuta Cemetery, which provides a unique perspective on Tangier's history.

On the final stretch, we will pass through the French part of the city, stopping at the French Consulate and the renowned Grand Café de Paris. The tour will conclude with a visit to Mendoubia Park and the Notre Dame Cathedral.

We will say our goodbyes at the Terrasse Borj al-Hajoui viewpoint after approximately 3 hours.
