Tangier to Marrakech 7-Day Trip + Merzouga Desert Visit

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech. Destinations include Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fez, and the dunes in the desert of Merzouga.

Tour Details

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Starting the trip, you'll be picked up from Tangier Airport or your hotel. Transfer to Chefchaouen, where you will have free time to explore the city. Overnight at a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

After breakfast, depart for Volubilis to view the archaeological ruins for 1.5 hours. Proceed to Meknes for 2 hours of free time to explore sites like Bab El-Mansour and the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue to Fez, staying overnight in a riad.

Day 3: Fez

Enjoy a guided tour of Fez, inclusive of the Royal Palace, Mellah, and the Medina. Free afternoon for further exploration and dining. Overnight at your accommodation.

Day 4: Fez - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Depart Fez to Ifrane, then through Atlas Mountains to Ziz Valley. Arrive at Merzouga Desert for a camel ride to a desert camp with dinner and traditional music.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert

Experience sunrise and partake in activities such as camel riding and visiting a nomadic village. Optional traditional lunch available. Return to the camp for another night.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley

After breakfast, head to Todgha Gorge for exploration and lunch. Proceed to Dades Valley, known for its landscapes. Overnight stay in Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Marrakech

Travel to Ouarzazate for studio visits and an optional tour of Aït Benhaddou. Arrive in Marrakech around 12 pm for drop-off at the airport or your hotel.

Book your arrival flight to Tangier for before 8 am as pickup is at 10 am. Consider staying in Tangier the night before. On the last tour day, arrival in Marrakech is around 12 pm; do not book departing flights before 3 pm.
