On this day trip to the Aeolian Archipelago, we'll explore the Sicilian islands of Stromboli and Panarea and see the active Mount Stromboli volcano!
Explore the Aeolian Archipelago
We will meet at via Luigi Pirandello to begin the trip to Stromboli and Panarea. A minibus will take us to the port of Milazzo, approximately a 1.5-hour journey.
At the port, we will board a boat and head north to the archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The first stop will be Panarea, the second smallest island of the Aeolian Islands. We will have 2 hours of free time to explore the main village, enjoy the beach, or dine at a local restaurant.
Next, we will visit Stromboli, known for its active volcano. Here, you will have another 2 hours of free time to explore the island, including sites such as the church of San Vincenzo Ferreri and its black sand beaches.
In the afternoon, we will return to the boat to observe the lava from Mount Stromboli.
After approximately 12 hours of cruising, we will conclude our trip and return to the starting point.
