Embark on a day trip from Taormina to explore Lipari and Vulcano, featuring views of the Aeolian Islands archipelago.

Lipari + Vulcano Day Trip

Meet at the Taormina bus station to board a bus to Milazzo Port, where we will take a boat to Lipari and Vulcano. The boat ride lasts about 1 hour, providing views of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Aeolian Islands archipelago.

Upon arriving in Lipari, enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore. Recommended activities include strolling through the old town, visiting the cathedral, and exploring the Archeological Museum, which features artifacts over 5,000 years old. Lipari is the most populated island in the volcanic archipelago.

Afterward, we will meet at the boat to proceed to Vulcano, the southernmost island with 4 volcanoes, including one that is currently active. You will have another 2 hours of free time to relax on the black sand beaches and sample local cuisine.

Finally, we will return to Milazzo Port, where the bus will take you back to the starting point, completing the trip in approximately 12 hours.
