Palermo & Cefalu Day Trip

Meet at the Taormina bus station to start the day trip to Palermo and Cefalu. After a 3-hour bus ride, we will arrive at Palermo, where we will begin a guided tour of the capital city of Sicily.

We will explore the old town, arriving at Quattro Canti, where Via Maqueda and Via Vittorio Emanuele intersect, known for its concave facades completed in 1621.

Next, we will pass by Martorana Church in Bellini Plaza, a site of historical significance with multiple architectural styles from several renovations.

Continuing on foot, we will reach Pretoria Plaza and then stop at the Il Capo Market to enjoy a typical dish and local flavors.

Afterwards, we will head to Cefalu on the northern coast of Sicily via a short hour bus ride. Upon arrival, we will visit the historical Old Town and the Cathedral, noted for its Norman-Byzantine mosaic of the Christ Pantocrator.

We will return to the starting point after a total duration of 12 to 13 hours.
