Venture into the jungles in the mountains and discover the Alto Mayo Valley on our Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip. We'll see numerous orchid species and visit the source of the Tioyacu River on this activity.

Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off to Rioja and Moyobamba. During the journey, we'll look out at the Alto Mayo Valley's lush green landscapes.

When we arrive in Moyobamba, we'll visit the Orchidarium to admire the colorful flowers. We'll then travel to Rioja, which is about 40 minutes away.

In Rioja, we'll visit the source of the Tioyacu River. We'll spend 2 hours exploring this area, with free time to swim if desired. A photo opportunity awaits on the charming wooden bridge.

We'll return to Moyobamba for lunch, which includes a main course and a drink. After eating, we'll head to the hot springs of San Mateo, where you will have around 1 hour of free time to enjoy the water, known for its healing properties.

The final stop will be at a coffee factory in Moyobamba, where you will learn about coffee production and taste delicious Peruvian coffee.

Our day trip will conclude as we drop you off at your hotel 12 hours after the start of the activity.
