Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip

Venture into the jungles in the mountains and discover the Alto Mayo Valley on our Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip. We'll see numerous orchid species and visit the source of the Tioyacu River on this activity.

Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off to Rioja and Moyobamba. During the journey, we'll look out at views of the Alto Mayo Valley's landscapes.

When we get to Moyobamba, we'll visit the Orchidarium and admire the flowers. We'll then travel to Rioja, about 40 minutes away.

In Rioja, we'll visit the source of the Tioyacu River. We'll spend 2 hours walking around this area, and you'll also have some free time to go swimming. Don't forget to take a picture on the wooden bridge!

We'll return to Moyobamba for lunch, including a main course and a drink. After eating, we'll head to the hot springs of San Mateo, where you'll have around 1 hour to take a dip in the healing waters.

The final stop will be at a coffee factory in Moyobamba, where we will learn how coffee is made and taste a cup of Peruvian coffee.

Our day trip will end as we drop you off back at your hotel 12 hours after the start of the activity.
