Beginner Diving Class in the Natural Park of the Strait

This beginner diving class in the Natural Park of the Strait starts at the designated time at the Hotel Tarifa Lances. Participants will begin with a theoretical lesson of half an hour covering the use of diving equipment and safety guidelines. Following the theory, participants will don wetsuits and conduct their first dive in the hotel pool.

Afterward, a minibus will transport the group to the island of Tarifa for the diving experience in the Natural Park of the Strait of Gibraltar. This area is suitable for novices due to the minimal currents and good visibility in the waters.

Diving will occur at depths of between 16.5 and 19.5 ft (5 and 6 meters), allowing exploration of the seabed, including corals, schools of fish, and octopuses. Participants will experience diving at the southernmost point of continental Europe, between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

The complete activity lasts approximately 3.5 hours before returning to the starting point.
