Tangier Day Trip from Tarifa

On this excursion to Tangier, we'll take a ferry from Tarifa, Spain to discover one of the most fascinating cities in the north of Morocco. We'll be in Europe and Africa in one day!

Description

We will meet at the port of Tarifa, one hour before the scheduled departure time, and board a ferry to the port of Tangier Ville, taking just 50 minutes. Upon arrival, we will begin a sightseeing tour of the modern city.

Our first stop will be at the Kasbah, located in the hilltop area of the Tangier Medina, offering views of the historic old town.

Next, we'll enjoy a typical Moroccan lunch, featuring traditional dishes such as harira soup, beef kebabs, couscous, tea, and Arab pastry, accompanied by live traditional music.

After lunch, we will explore the Medina, followed by a stroll through the Mendoubia Garden. We will then visit the palace to learn about its history.

Finally, we will return to the port of Tangier and board the ferry back to Tarifa, concluding this 7 to 9-hour day trip.

Mendoubia Gardens are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. On these days, we will visit the Dar el Dbagh Museum instead.
