Tangier Day Trip from Tarifa

On this day trip to Tangier, we'll take a ferry from Tarifa, Spain to explore one of the fascinating cities in the north of Morocco.

Day Trip Details

One hour before the indicated time, we'll meet at the Information Office in the port of Tarifa and set sail on a ferry to the port of Tangier in 50 minutes. Upon arrival, we will embark on a guided tour of the modern city.

Our first stop will be Cape Espartel, where the waters of the Mediterranean Sea meet the Atlantic Ocean. We will then visit the Caves of Hercules, known from Greek mythology. Free time will be provided for photos or a short camel ride.

Next, we will explore the Kasbah, the highest part of the Medina of Tangier, to see the Sultan's Palace and views of the Strait of Gibraltar.

We will stroll through the Medina, passing by the Mendoubia gardens, the vegetable market, and the Tangier Synagogue, where we will learn about the Jewish community's history in Tangier.

Nearby, a typical Moroccan lunch will be served, featuring harira soup, beef kebabs, couscous, green tea, and pastries, accompanied by live traditional music.

After lunch, you will have about 40 minutes for shopping. We will reconvene for the return journey, concluding after a total of 9 hours.
