Inca Trail of Tajzara Trekking Tour

At 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to head to Tarija's central valley, crossing it to reach the Cordillera de Sama Biological Reserve.

During the drive, we'll admire the Sama mountain range and the Bolivian highlands, passing through picturesque villages and spotting the Andean fauna.

Upon arrival, we'll start our trek along the historic Inca Trail that connects Tarija's central valley with the high plateau of Tajzara, located at 12,139 ft (3,700 meters) above sea level.

We'll cover about 15.5 miles (25 km) along the steep trails of the Inca Trail of Tajzara. Halfway through, we'll take a break for a picnic lunch including a sandwich, fruit, and water.

After lunch, we'll continue our hike. At the end of the trail, a bus will take us back to Tarija, arriving at the pickup point between 2 and 3 pm.

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Tarija. If your accommodation is outside this area, you will need to go to the meeting point on Bolivar street.
