Inca Trail of Tajzara Trekking Tour

At 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to head to the Tarija's central valley, crossing it to reach the Cordillera de Sama Biological Reserve. While driving, we'll admire the landscapes of the Sama mountain range and the Bolivian highlands, passing through picturesque villages and spotting Andean fauna.

Upon arrival, we'll start our trek along the historic Inca Trail connecting Tarija's central valley with the high plateau of Tajzara, located at 12,139 ft (3,700 meters) above sea level. We will cover about 15.5 miles (25 km) on the steep trails. Halfway through, we will take a break for a picnic lunch that includes a sandwich, fruit, and water.

After lunch, we'll continue our hike. At the trail's end, a bus will take us back to Tarija, arriving at the pickup point between 2 and 3 pm.

Pickup

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Tarija. If your accommodation is outside this area, you will need to go to the meeting point on Bolivar street.
