At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tarija and head to the town of San Lorenzo, located about 30 minutes away.
During our journey to San Lorenzo, we'll share facts about the history of this town. San Lorenzo is known for being the birthplace of Eustaquio Moto Méndez.
Our tour will allow us to visit various monuments of San Lorenzo, including the house museum of Moto Méndez, where some of his belongings, including the weapons he used in his fight for Bolivian independence, are preserved.
We will also visit the church of San Lorenzo, built between the 17th and 18th centuries, and then move on to the local market of San Lorenzo, where we will have time to explore food, drink, and sweet stalls.
After the market visit, we'll arrive at Coimata. Here, we will take a walk through this natural spa formed by crystal-clear waterfalls. Before arriving, we'll stop to see the 750-hectare San Jacinto dam, which supplies water to the city.
After about four to five hours of exploration, we'll conclude the tour and you'll be dropped off at your hotel in Tarija.
