San Lorenzo & Coimata Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tarija and head to the town of San Lorenzo, located about 30 minutes away.

During our journey to San Lorenzo, we'll share facts about the history of this town, known for being the birthplace of Eustaquio Moto Méndez.

The tour includes visits to various monuments of San Lorenzo, including the house museum of Moto Méndez, which houses some of his belongings, including his weapons used in the fight for independence.

We will also visit the church of San Lorenzo, showcasing architecture built between the 17th and 18th centuries. Following this, we will explore the local market of San Lorenzo, where you can check out various food, drink, and sweet stalls.

After the market, we will arrive at Coimata. Here, we'll take a walk through this natural spa with crystal-clear waterfalls. Before reaching Coimata, we'll stop at the San Jacinto dam, a 750-hectare site that supplies water to the city.

After about four or five hours of hiking, the tour will conclude, and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Tarija.
