On this excursion to the Congost de Mont-Rebei, we will visit stunning natural areas of Catalonia and the charming towns of Arbeca and Montblanc.
Congost de Mont-Rebei Excursion
Pickup will be from your hotel in Tarragona between 8 am and 9 am. We will travel to the Congost de Mont-Rebei, a remarkable gorge that separates the provinces of Huesca and Lleida.
This gorge is unique as it lacks infrastructure, meaning no roads or power lines are present. We will walk along the path for three hours, taking in breathtaking views.
Next, we will visit Arbeca, home to an ancient castle on a hill and an Iberian archaeological site offering insight into its 3,000-year-old history.
After this exploration, you will have an hour of free time in Arbeca to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Following this, we will visit the Museum of Les Borges.
Our next stop is Montblanc, known for having Catalonia's largest walled enclosure. We will stroll through the town and admire the Santa Maria Church, the first Romanesque church in the upper part of a village.
We will conclude the excursion with a return to your hotel in Tarragona at approximately 6 pm.
