M?ori Rock Carvings Sailing Tour

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Taupo Harbour, where we'll board a sailing boat to cruise on Lake Taupo and see the famous M?ori rock carvings.

We'll sail across the largest lake in New Zealand until we reach Mine Bay, home to several large rock carvings from the 1970s. You'll see the 14-meter-high rock carving of Ng?toro-i-rangi, a M?ori navigator who led the tribes to Lake Taupo. We will provide information about the natural environment surrounding the lake, and if the weather permits, swimming will be an option.

Guests can enjoy a drink on board while relaxing on the boat deck and taking in the views of Taupo.

The boat ride concludes after a 2.5-hour tour, returning to the starting point.
