On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Taniwha Place in Tauranga at the scheduled time to begin this kayaking experience. Once we have all the necessary equipment ready, we'll launch the kayaks and start exploring Lake McLaren Falls Park, enjoying some delicious refreshments.

Our experienced guides will lead us into the serene waters of the Glowworm Canyon, where we will witness the glowworms illuminate our surroundings in complete darkness.

Throughout the kayaking experience, our guides will share interesting facts about the life cycle and characteristics of the New Zealand fungus gnat, the source of the glow from the glowworms.

Finally, after 3 hours, we will conclude our kayaking experience around Lake McLaren Falls Park, returning to our starting point.
