Benagil Caves Hike

Do you know the most famous caves in the Algarve? On this hike of the Benagil Caves, we'll discover this unique landmark that has turned into a symbol of nature in the south of Portugal.

Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point that you have selected and, from here, we'll make our way along the A-22. After a 1-hour drive, we'll reach the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. We'll embark on an exciting hike around the Benagil caves' surroundings.

Along this 1.5-kilometre (0.93 miles) route that will take us 1.5 hours, we'll enjoy scenic views of the Benagil caves. We'll provide answers to your questions about how these sea caves were formed and why they are famous.

Our hike will end at Praia da Marinha, where you’ll have 1.5 hours of free time to snorkel if the weather permits. You may also eat any food you've brought with you.

Lastly, we'll begin our drive back, making a brief stop in Porches for a final photo in front of the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha. We'll then return to the original meeting points after a total of 5 hours and 45 minutes.
