Organic Coffee Farm Tour

Description

In this visit to an organic coffee farm from Taxco, we'll learn about the care and elaboration of coffee.

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Juan Ruiz de Alarcón, in downtown Taxco, to travel to the agricultural community of Cacalotenango. We'll visit an organic coffee farm.

Discover the secrets of Mexican coffee plantations during this complete tour. Upon arrival at the farm, we'll explore the organic coffee field and witness the steps from planting to processing throughout the year.

We'll see the two varieties of coffee grown on the farm, Marseille and Costa Rican, and learn how to identify their differences. The tour includes a tasting of the coffee produced on the farm.

To complete the visit, we'll enjoy a meal of corn sopes with eggs and grilled meat, a traditional Mexican dish.

After four hours of sightseeing, we'll head back to Taxco and conclude the tour.
