Organic Coffee Farm Tour

In this visit to an organic coffee farm from Taxco, we'll learn about the care and elaboration of one of the most precious drinks in the world, coffee.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle Juan Ruiz de Alarcón in downtown Taxco for a trip to the agricultural community of Cacalotenango. We will visit an organic coffee farm to uncover the secrets of Mexican coffee plantations.

Upon arrival at the farm, we'll explore the organic coffee field and learn about the steps involved in coffee production throughout the year, from planting to processing. We'll see the two varieties of coffee grown on the farm, Marseille and Costa Rican, and identify their differences. The tour includes a tasting of the coffee produced on the farm.

To complete the visit, we'll enjoy a meal of corn sopes with eggs and grilled meat, a traditional Mexican dish.

After this comprehensive experience, we'll head back to Taxco and conclude the tour after four hours of sightseeing.
