Join us on our catamaran trip around La Palma from Tazacorte to admire the coastline and look for dolphins and whales in their natural habitat, as well as observe solidified lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
La Palma Dolphin & Whale Watching on a Glass-Bottom Boat
At the designated time, we'll meet at the port of Tazacorte and board the Fancy II catamaran, which features underwater windows to explore the seabed. Then, we will sail to the northeastern part of Isla Bonita to observe underwater life through the boat's glass floor, including rays, sharks, colorful fish, black corals, and octopi.
We will then sail through the Atlantic to spot dolphins and whales. If conditions allow, we may see dolphins and a pod of pilot whales, and witness whales exhaling humid air from their blowholes when surfacing.
Prior to returning to shore, we will view solidified lava flows from the Cumbre Vieja volcano's most recent eruption, reflecting on the 2021 eruption that lasted 3 months and its impact on the island.
The catamaran trip will conclude after a total duration of 2.5 hours as we return to the port of Tazacorte.
