Your adventure commences at the helicopter launch site located on Lakefront Drive in Te Anau, where the excitement builds as we prepare for an unforgettable exploration of Fiordland National Park utilizing diverse transport modes—air, land, and water. Ready? Let’s embark on this journey!

Our experience initiates with a helicopter flight that elevates us to the towering heights of the Fiordland Mountains. For 25 minutes, you will be captivated by spectacular panoramas showcasing Lake Te Anau, the enigmatic Hidden Lakes of New Zealand, and the impressive peaks of the Main Divide. The route also includes breathtaking views of the enchanting Kepler Mountains, a natural sanctuary that will leave you in awe.

Upon reaching Luxmore Hut, a secluded mountain shelter that marks the start of our hiking journey, you can select from two distinct trails:

Luxmore Hut Trek (2.5 to 3 hours): This picturesque hike leads you through a vibrant beech forest, making its way down a winding path in the Fiordland Mountains. The trek culminates at Brod Bay, positioned along the serene banks of Lake Te Anau.

Luxmore Hut and Luxmore Summit Trek (5 to 6 hours): This more extensive hike takes you through the enchanting beech forest and heads toward the Luxmore Summit viewpoint. From this elevated spot, enjoy breathtaking vistas of New Zealand's South Island. The journey concludes at the picturesque shores of Lake Te Anau.

Boat Return: After completing your chosen hiking route, we will take a brief 10-minute boat ride back to the original departure point, providing a fitting end to this extraordinary adventure.
