By booking your ticket to the Costa Teguise Aquarium, you'll get to visit the largest aquarium in the Canary Islands. This aquarium boasts over 1 million litres of water distributed across 33 spaces where you'll see hundreds of marine species.

As you wander around the aquarium, you'll see typical Canarian species such as moray eels, bream, gilt-head bream, and Canary damsels, along with brightly coloured tropical fish. The aquarium houses a variety of sharks in its underwater tunnel and a 500,000-litre central tank.

The Aquarium features 3 tanks with touch screens, allowing you to learn about unique species like sea urchins and cucumbers. You'll also see how the aquarium raises awareness about environmental concerns and pollution dangers, including a 'rubbish aquarium' that recreates the current state of some parts of Lanzarote's coastline.

Opening hours

The Costa Teguise Aquarium is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. The last permitted admission is at 5:15 pm.
