Cameron Highlands Rafflesia Excursion

On this excursion, you will learn about the world's largest flower, the rafflesia, in the scenic Cameron Highlands. At the designated time, you will be picked up at your hotel in Brinchang and transported into the forests in search of rafflesias.

After introductions, you will board a 4x4 vehicle for a briefing on this unique plant. Once deep in the rainforest, a guided hour and a half walk will commence. Rafflesias are challenging to locate, as the buds develop over several months and bloom for only 5-7 days.

A brief stop will be made in the village of Kampung Raja for you to have lunch on your own. The trip will then continue with a photo stop at the Sungai Palas tea plantation where you may enjoy a cup of tea.

Next, the excursion will proceed to the Mossy Forest, characterized by moss growing at the highest elevations of the Cameron Highlands and other Malaysian mountain ranges.

The final stop will be at a Strawberry Farm to observe the significance of strawberries in the area. After 8 hours of exploration, you will be returned to your hotel, concluding the tour.
