Want to discover one of the most famous natural monuments of Gran Canaria? This Roque Nublo hiking tour will allow you to explore this volcanic formation that is characteristic of the island. You'll walk among Canary pine trees and uncover the enigmas surrounding this great rock.

Roque Nublo Hiking Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at the Roque Nublo parking lot, located half an hour's drive from the center of Tejeda. We'll start a 6 km hiking tour to explore the mountains of central Gran Canaria and discover one of the main icons of the island.

We'll start walking uphill while enjoying the 360-degree views of the steep peaks of Gran Canaria. We'll move away from the most touristic trails through unknown areas of great beauty, reaching one of the highest points of the island at 1,813 meters.

During the Roque Nublo hike, we'll walk through Canary pine forests until we reach the viewpoint of this volcanic rock, part of a Biosphere Reserve. We'll explain how this landmark was formed and its historical significance as a site for the indigenous people of Gran Canaria. We will also see the rocks of El Fraile and La Rana.

After the hike, we'll part ways at 2 pm at the starting point.
