Description

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Petra

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv to begin this excursion to Petra. The journey will take around 5 hours. We will traverse the Siq Gorge and the ancient Nabataean capital, which dates back around 2300 years.

During our tour, we'll learn about the Nabataeans, their relationships with the Romans, and visit iconic structures like the Petra Treasury, the theatre, the Royal Tomb, and the Djinn Blocks.

Next, we'll dine at a local restaurant and then settle at a hotel in Wadi Musa for the night.

Day 2: Petra - Tel Aviv

On the second day, after breakfast, we'll return to Petra for you to explore the archaeological site at your own pace. You can revisit sites of interest, including the Petra Monastery and the Great Temple.

Finally, at around 4:30 pm, we will begin our journey back to Israel, arriving in Tel Aviv close to midnight.

Accommodation

This tour includes a night with breakfast at the 3-star Venus Hotel Petra or the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, whichever you prefer. Accommodation features double beds in Wadi Musa, and if unavailable, similar hotels in the chosen categories will be provided.

1-Day Trip to Petra

If you prefer a shorter duration trip, consider the 1-day trip to Petra, which offers a more intense tour returning to Tel Aviv between midnight and 1 am. Admission to the archaeological site, a guide, and lunch are included.
