Day 1: Tel Aviv - Petra

At the designated hour, we will meet you at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv to commence our trip to Petra. The drive from Israel to Jordan is approximately 5 hours along the highway, a journey that promises to be worthwhile. Awaiting us is the remarkable 7 Wonders of the Modern World.

As we traverse the Siq Gorge, the ancient Nabataean capital will reveal itself, a place with origins dating back approximately 2300 years.

Throughout our exploration of Petra, we will delve into the history of the Nabataeans and their interactions with the Romans. You will gain insights into their cultural practices and customs while we visit iconic landmarks such as the Petra Treasury, the theatre, the Royal Tomb, and the intriguing Djinn Blocks.

After our tour, we will head to a local restaurant for a meal and then conclude our day at a comfortable hotel in Wadi Musa, where we will rest for the night.

Day 2: Petra - Tel Aviv

On day two, breakfast will be served at the hotel before we return to Petra. You will have the entire day free to continue exploring this archaeological marvel at your own pace. Utilize this time to visit areas of interest from the previous day that you wish to discover further.

The Petra Monastery, constructed in the 1st century, the columned street, and the impressive Great Temple, designed for royal receptions, beckon you. The craftsmanship displayed in these monuments, meticulously carved from enormous reddish-hued rocks, reinforces the nickname of the Rose City. Quite fascinating, indeed!

We will gather around 4:30 pm to board our bus and commence our return to Israel, reaching the meeting point in Tel Aviv by midnight.

Accommodation

This experience includes an overnight stay with breakfast at either the 3-star Venus Hotel Petra or the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, based on your preference. Both options feature double beds in Wadi Musa. In case of full occupancy, similar establishments will be selected within the same categories.

1-Day Trip to Petra

For those seeking a quicker experience, consider the 1-day trip to Petra. This condensed tour provides a more intense experience, returning you to Tel Aviv between midnight and 1 am. Admission to the archaeological site, a knowledgeable guide, and lunch are all part of this option.
