Description

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Petra

We will collect you from the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv to begin the excursion to Petra. The journey between Israel and Jordan will take approximately 5 hours. We will traverse the Siq Gorge and the ancient Nabataean capital, which dates back around 2300 years.

During our tour of Petra, we will learn about the Nabataeans and their relationships with the Romans while visiting iconic structures like the Petra Treasury, theatre, Royal Tomb, and Djinn Blocks.

Next, we will dine at a local restaurant and conclude the day at a nearby hotel in Wadi Musa, where we will rest until the following day.

Day 2: Petra - Tel Aviv

On the second day, we will have breakfast and then return to Petra, allowing you the rest of the day to explore the archaeological site at your own pace. Key sites to explore include the Petra Monastery, the columned street, and the Great Temple.

At approximately 4:30 pm, we will begin our journey back to Israel, returning you to the meeting point in Tel Aviv close to midnight.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night of accommodation with breakfast at either the 3-star Venus Hotel Petra or the 4-star Sella Hotel Petra, depending on your preference. Double beds are provided in Wadi Musa, and similar hotels will be used if there is no availability.

1-Day Trip to Petra

If you prefer a shorter duration trip, book the 1-day trip to Petra, which includes admission to the archaeological site, a guide, and lunch. This option will return you to Tel Aviv between midnight and around 1 am.
