Jericho Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Tel Aviv at approximately 7:15 am, we will head to Jericho. The guide will provide information about its origins and historical significance. You will stroll through the historic city center.

We will visit the Biblical city of Jericho and learn about the Battle of Jericho, as described in the Book of Joshua regarding the city walls. You will also see the sycamore tree mentioned in the story of Zacchaeus, and we will stop at Elisha's Spring.

Next, we will go to the foot of Mount Temptation, where you can opt for a ride to the summit on the Jericho cable car. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the landscapes. We will also visit the Greek Orthodox monastery located atop the mountain.

We will continue to Qaser el Yahud, on the banks of the River Jordan, where Jesus was baptized. Then, we will proceed to the Dead Sea, providing you with time to relax and enjoy the mineral-rich waters.

After free time at the Dead Sea, we will start the return trip, concluding the excursion around 5:15 pm.
