Petra & Wadi Rum Tour from Tel Aviv with Flights

Visit two must-see sites in Jordan on this 2-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum. It includes flights between Tel Aviv and Eilat to avoid long road journeys.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Aqaba - Wadi Rum

At the specified time, go to Ben Gurion Airport to catch a plane from Tel Aviv to Ramon International Airport, taking just 1 hour. This flight significantly reduces the 6-hour road journey.

Upon landing, board a bus to cross into Jordan at Aqaba. After a stroll through the narrow streets, visit an Ottoman fortress for panoramic views of Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

After free time for lunch, we will take a 4x4 to explore the Wadi Rum desert, a World Heritage Site known as the Valley of the Moon. See notable formations like the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and the Arch of Um Furth.

Later, reach the camp for an overnight stay, enjoying a sunset in the desert and dinner.

Day 2: Wadi Rum - Petra - Tel Aviv

After breakfast, travel by bus from Wadi Rum to Petra, with an option to buy a small picnic for breakfast during the hour-and-a-half journey.

Walk through the Siq Gorge to view the Rose City and take a guided tour to learn about this UNESCO site, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, known for its Nabataean heritage.

Enjoy 2 hours of free time in Petra, have lunch, and end the day back in Eilat. Flight back to Tel Aviv is expected to land at Ben Gurion Airport by 10 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes 1 night's accommodation with half-board at Magic Rum Camp. Choose a standard double room or a superior room resembling a space tent. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and wifi. If fully booked, a similar camp will be provided with comparable standards.
