The Teotihuacan archaeological site is a must-see on any trip to Mexico. Pyramids, temples, history, and unsolved mysteries are waiting to be discovered. It is said that the name Teotihuacan means ‘birthplace of the Gods’, as the Aztecs believed that the Gods created the universe at that site.

Options

When you make your booking, you can choose out of the following options:

1-hour tour

With this option, we’ll walk just under a mile (1.5 km) around the archaeological site, visiting the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Pyramid of the Sun.

2-hour tour

This 2-hour tour allows more time to see attractions including the Pyramids of the Sun, Moon, and the Feathered Serpent. The walking distance will be approximately 1.9 miles (3 km).

3.5-hour tour

This most complete option includes transportation around the archaeological site. We’ll begin at the Citadel and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, explaining the city's organization during the Mexica occupation and their sacrificial practices. We will also visit the palace area and the pyramids of the Moon and the Sun, before heading to a special cave linked to the sun.
