Santa Maria del Oro Day Trip

On this day trip from Tepic to Santa Maria del Oro, witness the charms of this colonial municipality in Nayarit and enjoy a serene boat ride on its picturesque lagoon.

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Fray Junipero Serra Hotel in Tepic, where our bus will transport us to Santa Maria del Oro. The trip will take us back to colonial times.

Upon arrival, we will visit the central square and enter the parish of the Señora de la Ascensión. Next, we will climb up to a viewpoint for views of the Santa Maria del Oro lagoon.

Our journey continues with a stop at a lakeside resort. We will board a motorboat for a leisurely cruise and enjoy some free time to relax on sun loungers, swim in the pool, or engage in kayaking.

After a break, we will regroup for a traditional three-course lunch. Following our meal, we will return to Tepic.

After approximately 10.5 hours of adventure, we will return to the starting point in Tepic.
