Santa Maria del Oro Day Trip

On this day trip from Tepic to Santa Maria del Oro, experience the colonial municipality in Nayarit and enjoy a serene boat ride on its picturesque lagoon.

Description

We will meet at the scheduled time at the Fray Junipero Serra Hotel in Tepic, where our bus will transport us to Santa Maria del Oro. Prepare for a journey back to colonial times.

Upon arrival, we will start by visiting the central square of the municipality and enter the parish of la Señora de la Ascensión. Next, we will climb to a viewpoint for breathtaking views of the lagoon.

Our journey continues with a stop at a lakeside resort. Here, we will board a motorboat for a leisurely cruise, followed by free time to relax on sun loungers, swim in the pool, or take a kayaking adventure.

After a short break, we will regroup to enjoy a traditional three-course lunch. Following our meal, we will return to Tepic.

After about 10.5 hours of adventure, we will return to the starting point in Tepic.
