3-Day Tour Serra da Capivara National Park

Description

Day 1

Departure from your accommodation in Teresina early in the morning. The first stop is Sítio João Pimenta, arriving around 12:30 pm. Enjoy the dense vegetation and remarkable rock formations in the park, including various cave sites linked to prehistoric communities. After 6 hours of exploration, we will head to our accommodation for the night.

Day 2

Breakfast is at 7 am, followed by a moderately difficult hike of approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 miles), lasting around 4 hours. After returning to the accommodation for rest, we will visit the Nature Museum for 2 hours to learn about the geological evolution of Earth through 12 different rooms. The evening is free for relaxation at the accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will visit the Museum of the American Man for 2 hours, exploring human evolution from prehistoric times and viewing archaeological artifacts. Following lunch, we will depart at 2 pm for Teresina, expected arrival around 8 pm.
