3-Day Tour Serra da Capivara National Park

Description

Day 1

We'll depart from your accommodation in Teresina early to start the tour. Our first stop is Sítio João Pimenta, arriving around 12:30 pm, where you will explore the vegetation and rock formations as well as various cave sites from prehistoric communities. After 6 hours of exploration, we will proceed to our accommodation for the night.

Day 2

Breakfast is at 7 am, followed by a moderately difficult 5-kilometre hike (3.1 miles) starting at 8 am and lasting approximately 4 hours. Afterward, we will return to our accommodation to rest until the evening.

Later, we will visit the Nature Museum for 2 hours, where we will learn about the geological evolution of the Earth across 12 rooms. After the museum, we will return to our accommodation to relax for the evening.

Day 3

After breakfast, we will visit the Museum of the American Man for 2 hours to study human evolution and view pieces from archaeological sites. Following this visit, we will have lunch and begin our journey back to Teresina at 2 pm, expected to arrive around 8 pm.
