Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Teresina and travel to Pedro II, situated in the Serra dos Matões region. The journey by minibus will take approximately 3 hours.

During the day, we'll explore the old town of Pedro II and its natural areas. We'll walk through the town center, viewing historic houses, ancient squares, and churches, notably the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Conceição. We will explain the city's connection to one of Brazil's most significant emperors.

Next, we'll visit the Mirante de São João for picturesque mountain views, followed by the Mirante do Gritador, which is 984 feet (300 meters) tall, offering captivating views of the surrounding valley.

We will conclude our tour at the archaeological site of Torre II, where you can see ancient cave paintings reflecting the region's early history.

After the tour, we will return to our vehicle and head back to the hotels approximately 8 hours after the tour's start time.
