Somiedo Natural Park Snowshoe Hike

After meeting at the indicated time at your selected meeting point, we'll prepare to set off on a snowshoe tour through Somiedo Natural Park. We will put on our snowshoes and, following a brief talk on equipment use, we'll begin to explore the trails of this area of Asturias. Depending on the meeting point, we may visit different passes, such as Piedraxueves at an altitude of 5,020 feet (1,530 meters), or the Trobaniello trail. In both options, we will observe the region's abundant wildlife and the peaks of Las Ubiñas and Somiedo.

At the end of the route, we will take a break to admire the scenery before starting the descent through extensive fields of snow and birch forests. The hike will last approximately four to five hours, finishing at the starting point.

Equipment rental

You can book an option that includes the rental of poles and snowshoes if needed. Alternatively, you can choose the option without rental if you have your own equipment.
