Tour Details

At the appointed time, we'll meet in front of the statue of Eleftherios Venizelos in Thessaloniki and head west of the city.

After a journey of approximately 1 hour, we'll arrive at the archaeological site of Dion, an ancient settlement of the extinct Kingdom of Macedonia. At this site, you can see the remains of the theater and various temples and shrines that are still preserved.

You can visit the Archaeological Museum of Dion, which houses a collection of classical sculptures and exhibits, including artifacts and impressive mosaics that reveal details of daily life and artistic achievements of its ancient inhabitants. After learning about various curiosities about the art of that period, we'll continue our excursion into the interior of Greece.

We'll enter the Mount Olympus National Park, the legendary home of the Olympian gods, which is the highest mountain in Greece at 2,918 meters.

There, we'll hike along its trails to the Agia Kori waterfall for a swim in its clear emerald waters while learning about unexplained phenomena reported by visitors over the centuries.

We'll visit the Olympus National Park Information Center for an audiovisual exhibition about the park's ecosystem and cultural importance. Then, we will head to a traditional Greek restaurant for lunch at your own pace.

Afterward, we'll return to the meeting point in Thessaloniki, completing the experience in approximately 8 hours.
