Meteora Tour by Train

At the indicated time, your train will depart from Thessaloniki Station towards Kalambaka. Upon arrival at Kalambaka Station, an English-speaking driver will take you to the Meteora Monasteries, located 20 minutes away. During the drive, an explanation of the origin and history of this monastic complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be provided.

At the top of the Meteora Mountains, there will be four hours to visit the monasteries: Great Meteoron, St. Nikolaos, Holy Trinity, St. Stephen, Varlaam, and Roussanou. Each monastery has unique features and artworks. Visitors will admire the exterior of all monasteries and enter one or two during this time.
