On this boat trip around the Caldera of Santorini, we'll sail through the waters of the Aegean Sea to discover one of the most beautiful corners of Greece. You will love it!

Tour Options

When booking, you can choose between the following options of boat tours around the Caldera of Santorini. You can see the details of each option below.

3-Hour Boat Ride

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Old Port of Fira and, once we're all together, we'll start this exciting cruise along the Santorini Caldera—all aboard!

During the trip, we'll pass Nea Kameni and then Palea Kameni, the scenery of both volcanic islands is breathtaking. For 3 hours, you'll get to relax in the sea breeze and enjoy an unforgettable boat trip. At the end of the trip, we'll say goodbye in the port of departure.

6-Hour Boat Ride

In this option, we'll pick you up from your accommodation and, from there, we'll make our way to the Old Port of Fira. There, we'll board a boat to sail to the Santorini Caldera.

We'll first sail to the island of Nea Kameni, located in the centre of the volcanic caldera. There, you'll have free time to explore the crater and the rest of the island at your leisure. Then, we'll go to Palea Kameni to enjoy a dip in the hot springs. The contrast between the orange colour of the water, due to the presence of sulphur, and the greyish-brown tones of the earth will amaze you!

On the way back to the boat, we'll embark on a short ride to the island of Thirasia, the largest island of the Caldera. After disembarking on the island, you'll have 2 hours of free time for lunch in one of the many traditional Greek restaurants.

We'll then visit Manolas, the capital of the island of Thirasia, which can be reached by climbing a spiral staircase or by donkey. From there, we'll set sail back to the departure harbour, where we'll conclude this 6-hour activity.

Boat Ride + Oia Trip (11 Hours)

If you want to extend the experience, you can choose this option which includes a trip to Oia with pickup, where, as well as enjoying some incredible panoramic views, we'll witness the island's most spectacular sunset—don't forget your camera!

In this option, after visiting Manolas, we'll get back on the boat and head to the Old Port of Fira, where we'll take a bus to Oia to see the sunset. There, you'll have 2 hours of free time. After seeing the sunset, we'll bring you back to the port of Athinios, and then back to the original pickup point. Until next time!

Please keep in mind that this activity only includes pickup in the 6 and 11-hour options. If you'd prefer to go on the 3-hour boat ride, we'll meet at the Port of Athinios.

How it Works?

During the boat experience, you will choose from three tour durations: 3-hour, 6-hour, or a combined boat ride with a trip to Oia for the sunset.

The 3-hour option is a straightforward tour starting from the Old Port of Fira, promoting relaxation and scenic views as we pass Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni.

The 6-hour option provides an immersive experience with a pickup service from your accommodation. Following the tour of Nea Kameni with free exploration time, guests will enjoy the hot springs at Palea Kameni before visiting Thirasia for lunch.

Finally, the 11-hour option allows for an extended day with a trip to Oia, where you can experience sunset magic after the main boat tour.
