At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the A Casa José Saramago museum, located in the municipality of Tías in Lanzarote.

During the guided tour, you'll visit the different rooms of this home where the Portuguese author spent most of the last 18 years of his life. "A house made of books" is how the writer himself defined the home.

Passing through the study, you'll see photographs of family members, authors admired by the novelist, and the Nobel Prize for Literature award. You will also visit the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and garden, which offer incredible views of the sea and volcanic terrain.

We will discuss some of the artwork that adorns the author's walls, including works by César Manrique, Pepe Dámaso, Manolo Millares, Gao Xingjian, Oscar Niemeyer, Antoni Tàpies, among others.

One of the highlights will be the visit to the library, where Saramago wrote his last two novels: The Elephant's Journey and Cain. The atmosphere is truly magical.
