Hike Details

We'll meet at the indicated time on the dirt road of Montaña Testeina, located in Tías, Las Palmas. From there, we'll start this hiking route through the surroundings of Timanfaya National Park.

The route will be of medium difficulty, covering a distance of 7 km (4.3 mi). As we walk through the landscapes shaped by lava, we'll learn about the origins of the craters, tunnels, and cones formed by volcanic eruptions in past centuries.

During the hike, we'll appreciate the various chromatic contrasts of the terrain, including ochres, browns, greys, and intense blacks. The Volcanoes Natural Park presents a diverse palette of colours.

After a total of 3 hours, we'll return to the meeting point.
