  • 12 Stunden

If you're a wine lover, Georgia's Kakheti wine region is waiting for you. Discover natural landscapes, historic towns, and excellent wines on this day trip from Tbilisi.

Kakheti Guided Tour & Wine Tasting

On the morning of the tour, we'll meet in Tbilisi and head east to Kakheti, known for its vineyards.

After an hour's drive, our first stop will be a picturesque town for a baking masterclass where you will learn to make Georgian bread and taste it.

Next, we will visit the Monastery of St Nino at Bodbe, originally built in the 9th century. It is an important pilgrimage site and home to the tomb of St Nino, offering views over the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.

We will continue to the town of Signagi, located on a hill, where you will have free time to explore its cobbled streets and enjoy views or visit the Pirosmanishvili Museum.

Following Signagi, we’ll visit a local wine cellar to taste seven different Georgian wines and learn about their production in Kakheti. You will also taste chacha, a local vodka, and learn a traditional toast. Afterwards, there will be approximately half an hour of free time for lunch.

At the end of the trip, we will return to Tbilisi, arriving around 6:30 pm.
