Kakheti Guided Tour & Wine Tasting
The tour begins in Tbilisi in the morning, heading east to Kakheti, known for its vineyards. After an hour's drive, we'll stop in a town for a baking masterclass to learn how to make Georgian bread, with tasting included.
Next, we will visit the Monastery of St Nino at Bodbe, a key pilgrimage site built in the 9th century, where St Nino's tomb is located. The site offers views over the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.
We will proceed to the charming hilltop town of Signagi, where you will have free time to explore its cobbled streets and enjoy views, or visit the Pirosmanishvili Museum.
Afterward, we will visit a local wine cellar to taste seven different Georgian wines and learn about their production. Additionally, you will try chacha, a local vodka, and participate in a traditional toast. You will have about half an hour for lunch after this tasting.
The tour concludes with a return to Tbilisi, arriving around 6:30 pm.
