Katskhi & Chiatura Private Tour
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi to start our private tour of the Georgia Caucasus.
Our first stop will be at Katshki Pillar, a 40-metre-tall stone monolith overlooking the Karshuna River Valley. This natural column features a medieval church built between the 8th and 10th centuries, which was unexplored until 1944 due to its challenging location.
The next stop will be Chiatura, a town set between beautiful valleys and gorges. Chiatura was a vital mining centre for manganese during the USSR era. The town still retains elements of its Soviet past, including a 6000-metre-long cable car that we'll ride to view Chiatura.
After exploring the city's communist history, we will return to Tbilisi and drop you off at your hotel after a ten-hour tour.
