At the time of your choice, pickup will be from your hotel in Tbilisi for this private tour of the Georgia Caucasus.
The first stop is the Katshki Pillar, a 40-metre-tall stone monolith overlooking the Karshuna River Valley. This natural column is crowned by a medieval church built between the 8th and 10th centuries, which remained unexplored until 1944 due to its location.
The next stop is Chiatura, a town situated between beautiful valleys and gorges. Once an important mining centre during the USSR for manganese extraction, Chiatura still retains aspects of its Soviet past, including a 6000-metre-long cable car that allows a panoramic view of the town.
After learning about the city during the communist era, we will return to Tbilisi and drop you off at your hotel after a ten-hour tour.
