Katskhi & Chiatura Private Tour
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi and set off on our private tour of the Georgia Caucasus.
Our first stop will be at Katshki Pillar, a 40-metre-tall stone monolith overlooking the Karshuna River Valley. It features a medieval church built between the 8th and 10th centuries, left unexplored until 1944 due to its challenging location.
The next destination is Chiatura, a town known for its beautiful valleys and gorges. Once an important mining centre during the USSR for manganese, Chiatura still shows remnants of its Soviet past, including a 6000-metre-long cable car that we will ride to experience the scenic views.
After gaining insights into the city's history during communism, we'll return to Tbilisi and drop you off at your hotel at the conclusion of a ten-hour tour.
