Your adventure will commence at the renowned Katshki Pillar, a stunning natural formation that rises 40 meters above the Karshuna River Valley. Atop this imposing monolith, you will find a medieval church dating back to between the 8th and 10th centuries, which remained untouched until 1944 due to its inaccessibility.

The itinerary continues to Chiatura, a picturesque town surrounded by dramatic valleys and gorges. Once a significant mining hub within the USSR, Chiatura was known for its manganese production. Although the town has evolved, it still showcases elements of its Soviet heritage, including a 6000-meter-long cable car that we will take to fully appreciate the breathtaking views of Chiatura.
