This tour will take you along the Georgian Military Road to Ananuri Castle, the Jinvali Water Reservoir, and Kazbegi, a village in the Caucasus Mountains.

Kazbegi & Ananuri Castle Day Trip

Meet at the Avlabari metro station at the designated time to head north along the Georgian Military Road, which crosses the Caucasus mountain range.

After about an hour and a half of driving, the first stop will be the Jinvali Water Reservoir. Then, continue to the fortress of Ananuri, located on the Aragvi River and historically significant.

At noon, free time will be provided in Pasanauri for lunch, where local dishes are recommended, such as the khinkali.

After lunch, visit the Russia - Georgia Friendship Monument, built to commemorate the Treaty of Georgievsk in 1983, overlooking the Devil's Valley.

Proceed to Kazbegi. Optionally, take a 4x4 trip to the Gergeti Trinity Church, which overlooks Mount Kazbeg.

The final stop will be the Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, offering views of Stepantsminda. The tour lasts a total of 12 hours, concluding back at the initial meeting point.
