Join us on our day trip to Iruya and explore Tilcara's surroundings, experiencing Argentina's colonial past through cobblestone streets.

Iruya Day Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara at the scheduled time and head to the town of Iruya. The minibus journey will take approximately three hours.

During the trip, you will learn about how residents historically harvested food in terraced fields and utilized mountain water. The scenery along the way is notable.

Upon arrival in Iruya, a guided tour of the town will provide insights into its history and significant sites. Highlights will include the church, central square, and a viewpoint for panoramic views of the town's unique location. This setting offers excellent photography opportunities.

Before returning, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore and have lunch if desired. We will end the day by driving back and dropping you off at your hotel in Tilcara approximately 10 hours after departure.
