Tour of the Quebrada de Humahuaca
On the day of your adventure, at 11:00 am, we will meet you at your accommodation in Tilcara to board a bus that will take us into the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a spectacular gorge famous for its vibrant rock formations and historical remnants.
Our journey will first lead us to the vibrant Maimará, where we will visit the renowned Paleta del Pintor, a site celebrated for its striking geological features.
We will then proceed to Uquía, stopping to admire the well-known angel paintings that have made this peaceful village famous.
Continuing on, we will reach Humahuaca, the largest settlement within this valley. Here, a guided walking tour of the historic center awaits, showcasing its significance as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Independence Monument and the local Cathedral stand out as key points of interest!
After enjoying this tour, you will have an hour to find lunch at your leisure before we return you to Tilcara, with an expected drop-off at your hotel around 3:30 pm.
