Discover the customs and beliefs of a traditional village in northern Argentina on our day trip to the Hornaditas Community. You'll also visit the Quebrada de Sapagua during this day in the countryside.

Quebrada de Sapagua & Hornaditas Community Day Trip

Between 8:30 and 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara and set off northbound towards the Quebrada de Sapagua, located 40 minutes away.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 1-hour hike through the area, observing famous cave paintings and discussing their significance, as well as the history from the Inca period.

Following the hike, we will travel to the Hornaditas Community, where we will spend the day learning about the ancient customs and culture of its residents. Activities include observing their crops, sacred places, and trying traditional techniques for weaving and cake baking.

A delicious lunch featuring multiple dishes and a drink will be provided, allowing for further interaction with the families of this North Argentinean village.

The day trip concludes with a return to your hotel in Tilcara by 6 pm.
