Discover the customs and beliefs of a traditional village in northern Argentina on our day trip to the Hornaditas Community and the Quebrada de Sapagua.

Quebrada de Sapagua & Hornaditas Community Day Trip

Between 8:30 and 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara and set off northbound towards the Quebrada de Sapagua, located a 40-minute drive away.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a 1-hour hike through the mountain range, observing famous cave paintings and discussing the Inca period and the area's history.

After the hike, we'll proceed to the Hornaditas Community, where we will spend the day engaging with the local culture. Activities include exploring crops and sacred sites, as well as learning traditional weaving and cake baking.

We will also enjoy a delicious lunch featuring multiple local dishes and a drink, providing an opportunity to converse with the families of this North Argentinean village.

The day trip concludes with your return to the hotel in Tilcara at 6 pm.
