Salinas Grandes Day Trip

Discover the natural wonders of Argentina on this excursion to the Salinas Grandes: hike up to the salt flats and get stunning views of the surroundings!

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tilcara at 9:45 am and set off by bus to Purmamarca, a town located near the Hill of Seven Colours.

After a 30-minute drive, we will stop at a viewpoint in Purmamarca to enjoy the views of the rainbow-coloured rock formations of the Hill of Seven Colours.

We'll then climb the Lipán and Saladillo Hills to reach the Abra de Potrerillos viewpoint, at 4,170 metres above sea level. Here, we will see the Salinas Grandes, a vast area of salt flats.

Afterwards, we will return to Purmamarca, where you will have free time for lunch before beginning our return trip.

At the end of the tour, we will return to Tilcara, dropping you off at 3:30 pm.
