At your chosen time, present your ticket at the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Site ticket office to receive your access pass and begin your exploration. Welcome to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!
When you arrive, you’ll be captivated by the site's size and preservation. During your visit, you’ll experience the peak of the Mayan civilization. At the main plaza, you will see the Pyramid, dedicated to the god Kukulkán, also known as the "Castillo". Nearby are two colossal heads of feathered serpents, representing Kukulkan. The Chichén Itzá Pyramid also functioned as an enormous calendar for the Mayans.
Your ticket grants access to the Temple of the Warriors, featuring columns with battle scene engravings, and the Ball Game area, where Mesoamerican civilizations played their favorite sport.
Opening Times
Chichén Itzá is open from Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm. Final admission is at 4 pm, and areas like the Ball game, Sacred Cenote, Thousand Pillars Square, Observatory, and Las Monjas Complex close at this time.
Fares & Free Entries
The skip-the-line ticket includes admission fees for both locals and foreign visitors.The official ticket price at the ticket office with a queue is lower (95MXN per person). Additional government taxes apply (548MXN for foreign customers and 190MXN for nationals). These tickets require waiting in line.Reduced rates are available for individuals over 60, retirees, teachers, active students, persons with disabilities, and researchers with INAH permits (valid identification required).
