Chichén Itzá Guided Tour
We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Site in northern Yucatán Peninsula. The guided tour will take you back to the golden age of Mayan civilization.
Accompanied by a local history expert, we'll explore why this site is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, discussing myths, realities, architecture, culture, art, and history, along with words from the Maya language.
The renowned image of Chichén Itzá is the pyramid dedicated to the God Kukulkán, known as 'The Castle.' This temple was central to the region's religious life, serving as a giant sacred calendar for the Mayans.
During the tour, we will see the Temple of the Warriors and its thousand columns, explore the Mesoamerican ballgame, visit the Temple of the Jaguars, the Tzompantli with its skull engravings, the Platform of the Eagles, and more. The tour lasts for 2 hours.
