Dajti Mountain & BunkArt 1 Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet in front of the Opera & Ballet Theatre in Tirana. We will start by reviewing the communist period and visit BunkArt 1, the biggest bunker in Tirana.

In BunkArt 1, we will discuss its 107 rooms, designed to protect residents from a possible invasion or nuclear attack.

After learning about Albania's history, we will leave Tirana and travel to Dajti Mountain by cable car. The 20-minute ride will offer views of the area's natural beauty.

Upon reaching an elevation of 3,600 feet (1,100 metres) above sea level, we will hike Dajti Mountain, making stops to enjoy the peaceful surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

Finally, we will return on the cable car, arriving back in central Tirana at 2 pm.
