Dajti Mountain & BunkArt 1 Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet in front of the Opera & Ballet Theatre in Tirana. We'll begin by reviewing the country's communist period and visiting BunkArt 1, the biggest bunker in Tirana.

In BunkArt 1, we'll discuss details of this bunker and its 107 rooms, which were designed to protect residents from a possible invasion or nuclear attack.

After learning about Albania's history, we'll travel to Dajti Mountain by boarding a cable car. The 20-minute ride offers views of the area’s natural beauty.

Upon reaching an elevation of 3,600 feet (1,100 metres) above sea level, we'll hike the remaining distance up Dajti Mountain, enjoying the park's tree colors and making stops to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

We will then take the cable car back, returning to the centre of Tirana by 2 pm.
